Job summary

Primary Talent Partners is seeking a Senior Mulesoft Anypoint Developer for a San Francisco, CA engagement. This 15-month contract offers a W2 arrangement with no PTO or benefits, but an ACA-compliant supplemental package is available for enrollment.

The role requires strong MuleSoft expertise, API-led integrations, and SOA/microservices experience. You will design, develop, and support enterprise integrations while collaborating across teams to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in programming, analysis, design, development, and support.
• Strong knowledge of SOA, microservices, and API gateways.
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft and API management platforms (e.g., 3Scale, Apigee Edge).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and support enterprise apps and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, REST/SOAP APIs and related tech.
• Develop and maintain API-led integrations and microservices with SOA and API gateways.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable designs, API specs, and integration flows.
• Handle full SDLC tasks: coding, testing, debugging, deployment, QA and production support.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, audits, and partners to troubleshoot and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Mentor teammates, participate in code reviews and design discussions, and drive best practices.

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Senior Mulesoft Anypoint Developer to join a financial services company in San Francisco, CA. This is a 15-month contract to start with the potential for extensions.

Pay: $78.00 - $98.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Description:

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement, and support enterprise applications and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, REST/SOAP APIs, and related integration technologies.
• Develop and maintain API-led integrations and microservices, applying Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), API gateway, and integration best practices to connect internal and external applications.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable application designs, API specifications, integration flows, and technical solutions.
• Perform application development activities across the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, deployment, quality assurance, and production support.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, audit stakeholders, business partners, and other technical teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve integration challenges, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers, participate in code reviews and design discussions, and contribute to development standards, best practices, and continuous improvement of the application/integration environment.

Few of the top skills required:

• MuleSoft
• A minimum of 5 years' experience programming, analysis, design, development implementation, quality assurance, and applications support.
• Practical experience and knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices, and API Gateways, with at least one of the following technologies: 3Scale, MuleSoft, Apigee Edge, CA Technologies, Tibco Mashery, Axway, and IBM Gateway.
• Strong soft skills are non-negotiable as well.
