CarMax Auto Finance (CAF) seeks a Sr. Analyst, Technical Support and Business Monitoring to review and analyze complex IT systems operations tickets, provide application support to CarMax end-users, and mentor junior analysts.
This role also leads operational reporting and dashboards to ensure CAF Operations has the information needed to run the business, including data extraction, SQL, and root-cause analysis across multiple systems.
The Sr. Analyst, Technical Support and Business Monitoring at CarMax Auto Finance (CAF) reviews, analyzes, and evaluates the most complex Information Technology systems operations tickets to provide application support to CarMax end-users. This support can be either reactive to production problems, systems outages, and immediate business changes; or, this support can be proactive to support planned business objectives. The role will also mentor new or junior support analysts in the performance of their duties and the understanding of the company systems.
Additionally, the Senior Analyst, Technical Support and Reporting will provide leadership in the operational reporting and dashboard efforts to ensure that CAF Operations has the information needed to effectively run the business.
This person will frequently be found interacting with business users at CAF and Home Office IT to better understand system issues, causes and contributing factors to assist in determining a resolution to the problem. This individual has a strong working knowledge of Database schemas and the ability to use Structured Query Language tools. This person is frequently seen as a subject matter expert in the area under their responsibility and is involved with the design of systems enhancements. Additionally, this role will be critical in developing a visual reporting framework to help the business have the right tools available.
This role will be based out of Atlanta, GA CarMax Auto Finance Office (Kennesaw, GA). Associates will work onsite 4 days per week.
