Job summary

CarMax Auto Finance (CAF) seeks a Sr. Analyst, Technical Support and Business Monitoring to review and analyze complex IT systems operations tickets, provide application support to CarMax end-users, and mentor junior analysts.

This role also leads operational reporting and dashboards to ensure CAF Operations has the information needed to run the business, including data extraction, SQL, and root-cause analysis across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in IT related course preferred and/or 4 years of experience in a technical/support role.
• Experience with coding, tools and concepts: SQL Server scripting, Teradata, and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Provide business monitoring by extracting data from multiple systems and creating standardized reports.
• Lead/planned development, testing, implementation and user support for IT systems applications; create functional specs and perform data conversion and testing.
• Mentor junior analysts in their work.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex system challenges.
• Evaluate ROI and perform root-cause analysis to propose long- and short-term solutions.
