Job summary

Unified Women’s Healthcare is seeking a Senior Strategic Insights Analyst to independently design, build, and maintain governed dashboards and KPI reports across operational, clinical, and financial functions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, data science, information systems, computer science, business, finance, healthcare administration is required; advanced degree may be considered with experience.
• 5+ years of analytics, BI, reporting, or data analysis experience is required; master’s with relevant experience may be considered.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational data analysis is required.
• Experience building dashboards, semantic models, and governed reporting using Power BI, Sigma, or similar platforms is required.
• Experience defining, standardizing, and documenting business metrics and KPIs is required.
• Experience gathering requirements with business stakeholders and translating needs into analytical solutions is required.

The Senior Strategic Insights Analyst independently develops and enhances governed dashboards, KPI reporting, semantic models, and analytical solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making. The Senior Analyst translates complex stakeholder requirements into scalable reporting products and helps standardize the metrics used across the organization.

This role operates with limited supervision, provides consultative support to business stakeholders, and contributes to the adoption of self-service analytics through training, documentation, and ongoing product improvement.

Responsibilities

• Independently design, build, test, and maintain governed dashboards, reports, and analytical products that support operational, clinical, financial, and executive decision-making.
• Develop, standardize, and enhance KPI reporting for volume, revenue, conversion, productivity, capacity, and other key operational performance measures.
• Create and maintain semantic models, standardized calculations, reusable data structures, and governed data products that promote consistent organizational reporting.
• Partner with stakeholders to define business requirements, reporting objectives, data rules, and success measures, translating complex business questions into scalable analytical solutions.
• Write, optimize, and validate complex SQL queries to integrate, reconcile, and analyze data from multiple source systems.
• Improve existing dashboards, reports, and data pipelines to strengthen usability, accuracy, performance, maintainability, and end-user adoption.
• Perform advanced data validation, quality assurance, and root-cause analysis to identify and resolve reporting discrepancies.
• Develop clear data visualizations, narratives, and insights that explain trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers to business audiences.

Additional Job Functions:

• Create and maintain user-facing documentation, training materials, and guidance to support appropriate use of governed reporting products.
• Promote self-service analytics adoption through stakeholder education, user support, and ongoing product feedback.
• Contribute to report rationalization, inventory management, and the retirement of duplicative or legacy reporting.
• Provide technical guidance, peer review, and support to Analysts and other team members as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, data science, information systems, computer science, business, finance, healthcare administration, or a related field is required; a master’s degree in a related field may be considered in combination with relevant experience.
• 5+ years of relevant analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or data analysis experience is required; one or more years of relevant experience may be considered with a master’s degree in a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational data analysis is required.
• Demonstrated experience building dashboards, semantic models, and governed reporting products using Power BI, Sigma, or a comparable business intelligence platform is required.
• Experience defining, standardizing, and documenting business metrics and KPIs is required.
• Experience working independently with business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify reporting objectives, and translate business needs into analytical solutions is required.
• Experience in healthcare, multisite operations, or another complex operating environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills are required to evaluate data issues, identify root causes, and develop practical reporting solutions.
• Strong data storytelling and visualization skills are required to present complex findings in a clear, actionable, and audience-appropriate manner.
• Strong requirements analysis skills are required to define business questions, reporting logic, data rules, and success measures.
• Strong self-service enablement skills are required to support documentation, user guidance, adoption, and ongoing product improvement.
• Ability to provide peer coaching, technical support, and constructive feedback to analysts and business partners is required.
• Demonstrated ability to learn, evaluate, and effectively leverage emerging technologies, including AI and advanced analytics, to improve how Strategic Insights delivers analysis, builds solutions and creates business value.
