Job summary

Unified Women’s Healthcare is seeking an Analyst, RCM Business Process Improvement & Integrations to drive performance improvements across the Revenue Cycle. This role focuses on optimizing cash collections, increasing operational efficiency, and delivering measurable ROI.

The analyst will support end-to-end RCM functions across front-, mid-, and back-end processes, work cross-functionally to implement scalable, durable solutions, and provide training and go-live support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle.
• Lean/Six Sigma training is a plus.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio and Word.
• Working knowledge of EDI transactions is desirable.
• Able to analyze data to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
• Able to work independently and with a team.
• Strong communication skills to present to management.

Responsibilities

The Analyst, RCM Business Process Improvement & Integrations is an individual contributor responsible for driving the development, implementation, and sustainment of performance and process improvement initiatives across the Revenue Cycle organization. This role focuses on optimizing long-term cash collections, enhancing operational efficiency, and delivering measurable cost savings and strong return on investment (ROI).

This position supports end-to-end revenue cycle functions, including front-, mid-, and back-end operations, as well as related processes such as refunds, provider credentialing, system integrations, automation, and quality control. The Analyst partners cross-functionally to implement scalable solutions that improve workflows, streamline processes, and strengthen overall revenue cycle performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) workflows and lead performance improvement initiatives to optimize cash collections, reduce inefficiencies, improve reimbursement outcomes, and drive long-term cost savings.
• Develop and manage RCM project plans, deliverables, and onboarding resources required for new business partners and other revenue cycle initiatives.
• Create and maintain system configurations that impact revenue cycle functions through improvement opportunity identification, business partner additions, and requests received through a ticketing queue.
• Define scope of work and improvement opportunities through discovery activities, stakeholder interviews, current state documentation, challenge identification, data collection, and analysis.
• Document performance improvement initiatives, digital automation opportunities, business requirements, desk-level procedures, and process flow diagrams to support new workflows, revenue enhancement, and cost reduction.
• Collaborate across impacted departments to drive improvement initiatives, including idea sharing, documentation development, progress tracking, follow-up, and implementation support.
• Develop and deliver proposals, updates, training programs, knowledge transfer materials, and documentation repositories to support prioritization, ROI measurement, upskilling, system enhancements, functionality changes, and workflow redesign.
• Serve as subject matter expert for internal and external-facing customers and provide hands-on go-live and post-go-live support for billing best practices, system settings, workflows, claim outcomes, and change initiatives.

Additional Job Functions:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or other related field or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in healthcare industry revenue cycle.
• Experience with operational workflow concepts, management-level reporting, control development and monitoring preferred.
• Demonstrated process improvement / training experience required. Lean/Six Sigma training a plus.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio and Word.
• Working knowledge of EDI transactions is desirable.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting data to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
• Able to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to document complex issues and processes in detail.
• Able to communicate clearly and provide information or instruction to top level management, mid-level management, and employees.
