Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the daily P&L process for client trading desks, with emphasis on accurate QA, price verification, and timely reporting. The role works closely with offshore Product Control and internal teams to deliver daily and month-end statements.

Major Duties :1. Assists with managing the daily P&L process for one or more client trading desks.

  • Conducts daily reviews of Quality Control checks.
  • Works with client(s) on P&L differences/inquiries.
  • Works with offshore Product Control Team (India) on quality control process.
  • Works with Product Control Consultant to deliver final daily (and month-end) P&L statement to the client.
  • Assists with the preparing and managing the price verification process and associated reporting.
  • Updates and maintains pricing policy for each financial type that is included in the consultant¿s P&L reporting.
  • Carries out activities with financial, client, and/or internal business impact.
Knowledge :Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required
Highly flexible and adaptable to change
Technical Skills / Systems Knowledge Is Required
Experience :A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred. Related Industry qualification (e.g. ACCA) is preferred.
Salary Range
$52,800 - 79,200 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
