Job summary

Northern Trust is a leading global provider of wealth management, asset servicing, asset management and banking services. The role involves assisting with daily P&L processes for client trading desks, QC reviews, and coordinating with offshore teams to deliver accurate daily and month-end statements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing the daily P&L process for one or more client trading desks.
  • Conduct daily reviews of Quality Control checks.
  • Work with clients on P&L differences/inquiries.
  • Coordinate with offshore Product Control Team on QC processes.
  • Help deliver final daily and month-end P&L statements to clients.
  • Assist with price verification process and related reporting.
  • Update pricing policy for each financial type in the P&L reporting.
  • Perform activities with financial, client, or internal business impact.

Major Duties
  • Assists with managing the daily P&L process for one or more client trading desks.
  • Conducts daily reviews of Quality Control checks.
  • Works with client(s) on P&L differences/inquiries.
  • Works with offshore Product Control Team (India) on quality control process.
  • Works with Product Control Consultant to deliver final daily (and month-end) P&L statement to the client.
  • Assists with the preparing and managing the price verification process and associated reporting.
  • Updates and maintains pricing policy for each financial type that is included in the consultant’s P&L reporting.
  • Carries out activities with financial, client, and/or internal business impact.
Knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required

Experience
  • A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred. Related Industry qualification (e.g. ACCA) is preferred.
Salary Range

$52,800 - 79,200 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
