What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and strategic opportunities for quality improvement across the health plan performance portfolio
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to health service utilization, cost of care, and quality measure performance
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify opportunities for cost reduction and drive quality performance improvement
- Synthesize performance status and market interventions to prepare for performance meetings with payer partners
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and data analysis support for field teams and internal partners
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in health services administration, health policy, mathematics/statistics, information technology, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in an analytic role
- Extensive experience with Excel or Google Sheets, including data manipulation and pivot tables
- Strong attention to detail and exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated project management skills and a proactive approach to task management
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience using Tableau or other data management software
- Comfort with tackling ambiguous problems with a high degree of autonomy
- Experience with data automation (e.g., macros) and advanced analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Snowflake)
