Wendy's International is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the CFO and business units from the Dublin, OH area. The role focuses on monthly close, budgeting, forecasting and reporting to senior leadership, including variance analysis and ad-hoc analyses.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis within a large organization. Travel is about 5% with an emphasis on collaboration and accuracy.

• Analyze monthly forecast focusing on G&A, Earnings per Share, Capital Expenditures and Free Cash Flow; perform ad-hoc analyses.

This position supports either the Office of the CFO or individual Business Units and will have an active role in: reporting on the monthly close, supporting the quarterly earnings review, assisting with the budgeting and forecasting processes along with other key ad-hoc analyses. The position will also track and analyze General & Administrative expenses, capital spending, free cash flow, earnings per share and perform analysis on various ad hoc corporate initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and compile monthly detailed financial results and analysis for presentation to Senior Leadership. This will include variance explanations versus forecast, prior year, and the annual operating plan.
• Support preparation and analysis of Annual Operating Plan.
• Support Quarterly SEC and Board reporting requirements in partnership with Financial Reporting and Investor Relations.
• Plays a key role in the monthly forecast process, with a focus on analyzing and reporting on results including General & Administrative, Earnings per Share, Capital Expenditures and Free Cash Flow.
• Prepare ad-hoc analysis which support key business decisions.

Pay Range: $81,000.00 - $138,000.00 Annually

What we expect from you

• Solid knowledge of Accounting principles and financial analysis, budgeting & forecasting techniques.
• Experience with computer modeling, management reporting systems and computer applications. Ability to create and manage databases and Excel based financial models.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interpret results, understand implications and communicate to business users.
• 2 to 4 years experience in financial analysis position with large organization. Multi-unit restaurant and/or retail environment a plus.

Expected Work Location (In Office)

It is expected that you will primarily perform work at the Wendy's Restaurant Support Center (RSC) (1 Dave Thomas Blvd, Dublin, OH 43017), or at other location(s) as designated by the Company. You are required to work in the office at least 4 days a week. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs.

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. The target annual bonus for this role is 10% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
