Job summary

Hershey Salty Snacks is seeking a Customer Supply Chain Senior Analyst to manage replenishment for Walmart and Sam’s Club. You will align tactical and strategic supply chain imperatives, define short- and long-term vision, and drive initiatives to realize that vision.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • At least five years progressive supply chain experience.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and data storytelling.
  • Experience with Walmart Retail Link or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely replenishment for promotions, seasons, and planogram changes; communicate items and quantities.
  • Drive in-stock and sales by analyzing forecasts and distribution networks.

  • Monitor fill rates, on-time delivery, inventory, and waste for assigned customers.
  • Lead cross-function meetings to identify problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Travel 10–35% for in-person meetings.

Job description

Summary

Hershey Salty Snacks is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Customer Supply Chain Senior Analyst. This individual would manage key supply chain activities to ensure flawless replenishment execution for Walmart and Sam’s Club. They would be responsible for aligning supply chain tactical and strategic imperatives, defining short‑term and long‑term supply chain vision, and implementing strategies to achieve that vision.

Responsibilities
  • Work with multi‑function internal and external teams to provide timely replenishment and planning actions and insights for promotions, seasons, and planogram changes. Specific activities include the communication of promotion items and quantities, the creation and execution of seasonal push‑pull strategies for everyday items and forecasting and management of new and deleted items.
  • Maximize selling opportunities: Use insights derived from retail data to drive retail in‑stock and sales. Through detailed understanding of customer forecasts and distribution network configuration and practices, assist Sales and Category Strategy to promote proper volume allocation and timing of inventory.
  • Manage and develop scorecards for key customers to highlight metrics, shortfalls, and action items as needed to correct course.
  • Lead the relationship with Key Customer Replenishment Managers, Sales Teams, and Buyers through regular weekly supply chain CDA meetings.
  • Establish and monitor progress against key milestones in the life cycle of all promotion events, modular transitions, and item changes.
  • Lead regular multi‑function meetings, to identify potential problems, implement corrective actions, and update all affected parties to protect customer on‑shelf commitments.
  • Monitor fill rates, on‑time delivery, inventory levels, service to retail partners and waste for assigned customers.
  • Develop the tools and processes to deliver reliable results and drive corrective action.
  • Formulate and execute special warehousing, transportation, and packaging initiatives as needed based on company directives.
  • Represent Hershey Salty Snacks on all relevant special projects and customer initiatives.
  • Through customer interaction and regular benchmarking, develop and maintain a focus on customer’s strategic direction to educate and prepare internal constituents and actively participate in strategic programs when there is a demonstrated benefit to the total supply chain.
  • Monitor PO fill rate violations, ASN and OTIF fines, and shortage/transportation violations.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and dispute invalid charges.
  • Track item/DC out of stock issues, work cross‑functionally to develop a solution, and communicate recovery timeline.
  • Assist in reconciling demand/forecast alignment between Demand Planning, Sales, and Customer Forecasts.
  • Lead formal internal and external meetings and events to manage peer relationships and facilitate business planning.
  • 10–35% travel required to attend in‑person meetings.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to perform role with minimal supervision, work in an ambiguous environment and be solutions oriented.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities. Demonstrated ability to organize data from disparate sources to tell a cohesive story.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with internal and customer partners at all levels. Able to integrate feedback and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficient understanding of fundamental business management and supply chain principles and concepts.
  • Thorough grasp of key internal and customer forecasting, order generation, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Ability to lead multi‑functional project teams.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong working knowledge of S4 HANA.
  • Experience with Walmart Inc. applications preferred (Retail Link, NOVA, Aspen, etc.).
  • Ability to present complex solutions in an executive summary.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Disposition to engage with customer at all levels of their organization (replenishment analyst to SVP).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, rapidly evolving, and collaborative entrepreneurial environment.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; at least five years progressive experience in Supply Chain or related function.
