Sr. Analyst, Corporate Development and M&A

Overview:

The Sr. Analyst will report to the SVP of Corporate Development and M&A. Responsible for financial and strategic analysis of potential acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic alternatives in alignment with corporate objectives. The position involves evaluating and executing merger, acquisition, and other transactions globally. The individual will work on high-visibility projects.

Scope:

This role focuses on financial and technical analysis within the Software industry, partnering with the Corporate Development and M&A team at Blue Yonder to support company-wide inorganic growth strategies.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop financial models for mergers, acquisitions, and corporate development projects.
• Create models to analyze capital structure, transaction profitability, cash flows, income statements, balance sheets, and IRR.
• Prepare content for transactions to communicate with acquisition targets and senior management.
• Participate in acquisition processes including strategy formulation, deal sourcing, due diligence, structuring, and closing.
• Maintain an acquisition target database for review and comparison.
• Generate detailed reports and presentations on growth opportunities and industry comparisons.
• Collaborate with finance and product teams to analyze financial models.
• Monitor financial performance of acquired companies.
• Contribute to strategic projects and initiatives as needed.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in Investment Banking, M&A, venture capital, or private equity.
• Experience in developing detailed acquisition models.
• Proficiency in creating complex financial models.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables.
• Attention to detail and project management skills.
• Integrity and confidentiality in business transactions.
• Knowledge of the enterprise software industry is a plus.
• MBA is a plus.

The Blue Yonder Corporate Development team manages all M&A and growth opportunities, from pipeline management to deal execution. They serve as strategic partners to leadership, developing business cases, deal concepts, and executing complex transactions, often leading cross-functional teams.

The salary range for this position is $104,669.00 to $151,665.00 USD. The actual salary will depend on skills, experience, and location. The role may include bonuses or commissions based on performance.
