A Day in the Life

Job Description

Renal Denervation (RDN) is an innovative procedure that helps patients lower blood pressure by targeting specific nerves near the kidneys that can become overactive and cause hypertension. High blood pressure is a global epidemic, affecting one-third to one-half of adults.

We are hiring a field-based Principal Field Market Development Specialist to join our RDN Field Market Development Team. This role will help shape and lead local market development by supporting the hypertension (HTN) patient journey to ensure the right patients have access to this therapy.

As a Principal Field Market Development Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping and driving local market development and education efforts. You will partner closely with sales, proceduralists, and non-invasive partners to educate and increase access to care for HTN patients by building awareness, developing programs, and aligning strategies.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and rapidly expanding team responsible for introducing a potentially transformative new therapy. Renal Denervation (RDN) has the potential to become a multibillion-dollar market globally in the next five years. Join the US RDN launch team to help bring this revolutionary therapy to U.S. hypertension patients.

We seek leaders with a clear vision, bold and inclusive thinking, and innovative ideas to benefit patients, business partners, and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and pilot organizational strategies, ensuring alignment with broader launch and therapy objectives.
  • Lead clinical data and program planning discussions with stakeholders to streamline patient care pathways.
  • Identify key stakeholders and develop partnerships with cardiologists, HTN specialists, hospital executives, and other healthcare professionals to raise awareness and champion HTN care.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend approved HTN and customer program initiatives.
  • Utilize CRM software to track activities and report quarterly productivity.
  • Manage pilot and awareness activities within budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with sales, clinical, and reimbursement teams to deliver solutions meeting customer needs.
  • Align materials, programs, and resources with hypertension awareness initiatives and customer programs.
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams on expansion strategies and new physician outreach.
  • Support a culture of collaboration, customer focus, ethics, and execution.
  • Participate in relevant association and society events.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and manage administrative and expense requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, program or market development, sales, or sales support (5+ years with an advanced degree)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or Master’s in Business, Hospital Administration, Nursing, or Life Science
  • Healthcare marketing or consultative selling experience in medical devices or pharmaceuticals
  • Experience working in a hospital CV suite or related roles
  • Experience in developing new markets and executing key tactics with performance tracking
