Job Description

Job Summary

Interfaces with the customer in developing requirements for major projects of considerable complexity; prepares system design specifications; conducts research to resolve customer initiated issues related to core systems processing; and coordinates and manages project teams in the development of large multi-system, multi-platform projects along with implementing the test approach. This position is responsible for implementing the test approach, strategy for test automation and test analytics, enforcing test quality standards, and providing whole project support and oversight. In addition to integration with other projects, responsible for leading and providing accurate and timely creation and execution of UAT test artifacts and tasks.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Works closely with customer to develop requirements for major projects of considerable complexity.
• Prepares general system design specifications.
• Creates, reviews, analyzes and estimates project requests.
• Performs research and analysis of customer inquiries and requests, leveraging programming experience and technical tools to debug/analyze problems.
• Fields questions from Molina Operations Staff regarding business, technical and operations rules.
• Develops technical solutions to complex business and system problems.
• Leads development teams through project implementation.
• Provides excellent customer service, handling all aspects of client relations concerning technical projects, including notifying the client of schedules and coordinating presentation of results.
• Mentors others and shares business and system knowledge.
• Develops, reviews and validates test results per requirements.
• Creates, presents, and executes functional and acceptance test cases in accordance with project requirements.
• Leads project test tasks from requirements review through deployment, including work assignment, prioritization, and issue triage.
• Evaluates and tests software products, validating documentation prior to release.
• Prepares and designs test plans and test cases for new and existing features (regression testing).
• Understands other MMIS changes that may impact the customer and notifies them ahead of implementation.
• Vendor Management: Acts as single point of contact for vendors, coordinating installation, upgrades, and problem resolution.
• Supports Integrated Test Facility (QA) as needed.
• Able to work and lead in a team setting while also completing individual tasks within timelines, including accelerated timelines to meet deployment deadlines.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years related experience in applicable business and systems.
• Testing experience required.
• Data analytics skills.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies: Agile, Waterfall, etc.
