Job Description:

The State of Oregon, in partnership with GSK Solutions, is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support a new IT application development project. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in analyzing business processes, documenting system requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This is a remote, 6-month+ contract role.

Specialty Areas:

• Requirements Gathering & Documentation – Leading the creation of BRDs, functional specs, user stories, and process diagrams.

• Business Process Analysis – Conducting workflow reviews and systems analysis to define functional and technical needs.

• Agile/Scrum Collaboration – Participating in all Agile ceremonies to ensure alignment between business and technical teams.

• Data Analysis & Visualization – Cleaning, testing, and analyzing data to support application functionality and insights.

• Application Development Support – Working closely with architects, developers, and QA to ensure accurate delivery of features.

Responsibilities:
