Job summary

The Brixton Group is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to architect and stand up highly available cloud and network infrastructure in Fort Collins, CO. You will help create scalable connectivity, secure patterns, and self-service capabilities for engineering teams.

You will leverage 7+ years in networking/cloud, with IaC and AI-driven automation to automate operations and drive production-ready platforms across Cloud, Security, and Database domains.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Network, Cloud, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on network engineering/architecture experience.
• 3+ years of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud infrastructure experience.
• 3+ years of infrastructure/network automation or IaC experience.
• 1+ year using AI/LLMs, AI agents, or AI-driven automation in professional engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build cloud and network infrastructure supporting highly available, payment-critical systems.
• Design scalable connectivity, routing, network security, and cloud networking patterns.
• Build reusable network/platform capabilities for self-service by engineering teams.
• Automate infrastructure and network operations using modern tooling, IaC, and AI/agentic workflows.
• Work across Cloud, Database, Security, and Application Engineering to build an integrated platform architecture.
