Job summary

The Brixton Group in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a hands-on Senior AI Platform Engineer to design and build scalable cloud infrastructure supporting critical production systems.

You will apply AI and agentic automation to infrastructure, security, and operations, improving reliability, observability, and security while collaborating with Cloud, Network, Security, Database, and Application Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Platform, Cloud, SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• 3+ years of Infrastructure as Code/automation experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• 3+ years of expertise in at least one area: Cloud, Networking, Security/IAM, Database Infrastructure, or SRE.
• 1+ year of professional experience using AI/LLMs, AI agents, or AI-driven automation in engineering workflows.
• Experience building reusable platform capabilities, automation, or self-service infrastructure.

We are seeking a hands-on Senior AI Platform Engineer to help design and build scalable, secure, and highly automated cloud infrastructure supporting critical production systems.

Ideal candidates will have deep expertise in Cloud, Networking, Security, or Database Engineering, with broad infrastructure knowledge and hands-on experience using AI and agentic automation to improve engineering operations.

• Create reusable automation, self-service tooling, and infrastructure guardrails.
• Apply AI and agentic automation to infrastructure, troubleshooting, security, and operations.
• Improve platform reliability, security, scalability, and observability.

Requirements
