Sr Advanced Hardware Engineer

As a Sr. Advanced Electronic Development Engineer at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in designing and developing advanced electronic systems and components. Your responsibilities include driving innovation, solving complex technical challenges, and contributing to technological advancements that will shape Honeywell's future and reinforce our position as a global industry leader.

You will report directly to the Electronic Development Manager and work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid schedule. Your work will impact the efficiency, performance, and reliability of our electronic systems, supporting the success of our products and customer satisfaction. You will contribute to Honeywell's next-generation displays and graphics products by designing, testing, and validating products and processes from prototype to market. You will join a team of dedicated professionals providing expertise on complex engineering projects, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with internal and external customers to meet specifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support complex product and module development, including system trades, requirement negotiation, architecture development, design, analysis, and testing in laboratory settings.
• Collaborate with a global, multidisciplinary team of systems, software, IC design, and mechanical engineers.
• Partner to resolve medium to low complexity electrical engineering problems effectively.
• Develop and refine work practices, tailoring best design practices and guidelines to ensure efficiency, compliance, and producibility.
• Perform testing and validation of electronic systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers.
