Amazon seeks a Sr. Acquisition Manager to lead end-to-end global film acquisitions for Prime Video and theatrical releases via Amazon MGM Studios.

You will build market-driven strategies, influence content decisions, and partner with Content Strategy, Business Affairs, Marketing, Finance, and Creative teams worldwide. You will leverage Excel analytics, develop financial models, and present findings to leadership while managing multiple high-stakes opportunities.

We are seeking a strategic, highly analytical Acquisitions Executive to join our Global Film Acquisitions team. In this role, you will lead deal negotiations end‑to‑end and shape acquisition strategies that support Amazon’s global film portfolio. You will source and secure externally produced films for distribution on Prime Video and for theatrical release through Amazon MGM Studios, partnering closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver compelling content to customers worldwide.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience structuring and negotiating terms for commercial content deals (e.g., production commissions, existing content licences, talent, multi‑title/output)
• Experience creating financial and/or theatrical models
• Seasoned analytical and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights

Compensation & Benefits

USA, CA, Culver City – $127,500.00 – $172,500.00 USD annually. Base salary range listed above. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
