A leading health technology company is seeking a Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist in Ontario, CA. This role involves managing the Accounts Payable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in invoice management and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative work ethic, and relevant experience in finance operations.
Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist (Ontario, CA):
This role ensures accurate and efficient execution of the Accounts Payable process, supporting the entire Purchase to Pay (P2P) cycle.
Your role:
Ensure accurate receipt, processing, and management of invoices, including vendor queries, parked invoices, and PO/non-PO related invoices to maintain an efficient Accounts Payable operation.
Collaborate with internal and external teams, vendors, and customers to manage inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and provide necessary documentation and follow-up.
Maintain accurate vendor master data, process intercompany transactions, and manage payments (vouchers, checks, ACH/wires) for timely execution.
Participate in month-end close activities, such as freight AP accrual, recurring AP accruals, and 1099 vendor setup, contributing to financial accuracy and compliance.
Engage in special projects, such as managing unclaimed property letters, supporting audits, and continuous process improvements.
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in PTP, Procurement Operations or Finance.
Your skills include knowledge of 1099 forms, invoice processing, vendor management, and financial systems such as PowerCerv.
You have a high school diploma, vocational education, or a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Management, Supply Chain Management, Data Analysis and Analytics, or an equivalent field.
You’re an effective communicator who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, able to manage competing priorities.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Ontario, CA is $26 to $33.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Ontario, CA.
