  • Experience with technical accounting research and financial reporting preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation and review of financial statements, supporting schedules, and disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
  • Maintain reporting schedules and ensure deadlines are met with accuracy and precision.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external auditors to support financial reporting requirements.
  • Research, analyze, and document complex accounting issues and emerging accounting standards.
  • Prepare and maintain technical accounting memos and position papers on revenue recognition, leases, and business combinations.
  • Monitor and assess the impact of new accounting pronouncements and assist with implementation planning.
  • Support technically complex accounting areas through preparation of journal entries, schedules, and reconciliations in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Assist with internal controls documentation and process improvement initiatives.

About The Role

As a Senior Accountant - Technical Accounting & Reporting, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of Accelevation’s financial reporting and accounting processes. You will support complex accounting matters, contributing to accurate, timely financial reporting. Working closely with finance leadership, cross-functional teams, and external auditors, you will help build scalable accounting processes that support the company’s continued growth.


Key Responsibilities


  • Financial Reporting & Accounting

    • Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements, supporting schedules, and disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP
