Job Description

This role involves applying general accounting principles to create financial reports and analysis. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of the accounting function, such as controlling accounts and records, recording transactions, analyzing financial data, preparing budgets, forecasts, financial statements, and accounting schedules/reports, and supporting auditing processes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Preparation and entry of journal entries, including GAAP and statutory reporting
• Preparation of income statements, balance sheets, consolidated statements, and other accounting reports
• Analysis of monthly financial reports and records
• Maintaining transactions in JDE, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy
• Reconciling bank account balances to bank statements to ensure cash balance accuracy
• Completing quarterly and annual statutory financial statements in compliance with accounting principles
• Supporting the annual audit process with prepared schedules

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business

Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience

Certifications: CPA preferred
