Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
  • Support the month-end close process with a two-day close timeline.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analyze account activity.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain accounting processes for balance sheet accounts.
  • Ensure appropriate financial controls are established and maintained across supported accounting areas.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests by gathering documentation and providing accounting support.
  • Support financial reporting activities that contribute to the preparation of company financial statements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, increase efficiency, and enhance data accuracy.
  • Help implement monitoring and systematic controls that strengthen financial integrity and compliance.
  • Collaborate with business partners to provide insights and support informed business decision-making.

As a Sr Accountant I, you will be a key contributor to the month-end close process, financial statement preparation, and accounting operations that support our business. In this role, you will collaborate across departments, improve accounting processes, and help ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial results. What you’ll be doing:
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Support the month-end close process while maintaining an efficient two-day close timeline.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analyze account activity to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain accounting processes for balance sheet accounts.
  • Ensure appropriate financial controls are established and maintained across supported accounting areas.

What's needed - Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA or active CPA candidate.
  • Experience with financial analysis and budgeting.
  • Previous accounting experience within a corporate environment.
  • Experience supporting financial reporting, month-end close, or audit processes.
  • Demonstrated experience driving process improvements and strengthening internal controls.
