Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with variance analysis.
• Manage general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing and fixed asset schedules.
• Assist with budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and cash flow reporting.
• Support audits by providing documentation.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with other departments.
• Track construction assets cost allocations and depreciation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, conducting variance analysis, and recommending corrective actions.
  
• Manage general ledger activities, including reconciling balance sheet accounts and ensuring accuracy in accordance with GAAP.
  
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes and manage fixed asset schedules and reports.
  
• Collaborate on annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, monitoring performance against targets.
  
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, maintaining cash flow reports and implementing effective collection and payment strategies.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and assist with audits by providing necessary documentation.
  
• Mentor junior accounting staff and work across departments to align financial goals.
  
• Monitor and report on construction assets, including proper cost allocations and depreciation.
  

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
