Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Overview:

Senior Accountant responsibilities include reconciling account balances and maintaining general ledger accuracy and preparing month-end close entries. A successful Senior Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles. Accuracy demonstrated in all reporting of information. The ideal candidate has also experience of collaborating and/or managing a small team of accountants.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce and manage error‑free accounting reports, general ledgers and present their results.
• Monthly review of SG & A accounts and variance to budget reporting.
• Review and manage daily cash position of the company.
• Monthly preparation of account reconciliations.
• Lead on month end billing process and month end close checklist.
• Preparation of month end journal entries.
• Provide input into the department’s goal setting process.
• Prepare monthly tax filings for a few locations.
• Review weekly AR aging reports.
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen
• Mentor staff accountants and AP person.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
• Complete other duties or ad hoc requests as assigned by the Leader
