Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a Senior Accountant to support month-end close, financial analysis, and budgeting across its growing construction-focused operations in Frederick, MD. This full-time, on-site role reports to the Controller and partners with the accounting team.

You will manage journal entries, reconciliations, cash and vendor payments, and compliance, with opportunities to improve processes and contribute to forecasting and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of Accounting experience.
• Strong month-end close and journal entry experience.
• Experience with financial analysis, cash/vendor payments, and compliance.
• Public accounting audit experience (preferred)
• Construction accounting experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.

This role will focus on month-end close, financial analysis, payments, compliance, and budgeting while working closely with the Controller and broader accounting team.
