Job summary

Phillips 66 seeks a Sr. Commercial Accounts Manager II, G&P for the Delaware Region. You will manage a customer base, develop new opportunities, and build knowledge of G&P and crude markets to optimize revenue.

Collaborate with Operations, Legal, FP&A, and Commercial; lead customer interfaces, assess prices and contract terms, and drive long-term supply opportunities while delivering customer-centric solutions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of energy industry and/or account management experience
  • Intermediate or greater proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Willing and able to travel up to 15% of the time
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a customer base in the Delaware Region
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities to expand market share
  • Develop knowledge of G&P and crude market structure and dynamics
  • Deliver customer-centric solutions and monitor customer portfolios’ performance to ensure targets are met
  • Build partnerships with internal teams including Operations, Project Development, Legal, FP&A, and Commercial
  • Lead customer interfaces for all commercial activities and collaborate with internal stakeholders on projects
  • Identify and execute new long-term supply opportunities and price/contract terms with Commercial and Trading
  • Identify improvement opportunities and lead related projects
  • Conduct financial analysis, project approvals, and ongoing customer engagement to support regional goals
  • Consolidate data to assess market conditions and communicate assessments to stakeholders

The Sr. Commercial Accounts Manager II, G&P manages business activities for Phillips 66 Gathering and Processing and Crude in the Delaware Region. The Manager is an individual contributor responsible for continuously identifying price and supply/demand trends, cultivating customer relationships, and optimizing revenue contribution from all G&P and crude contracts.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and develop a customer base in the Delaware Region
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities to expand market share
  • Develop in‑depth knowledge of G&P and crude market structure and dynamics through key industry relationships
  • Deliver customer‑centric solutions and monitor customer portfolios’ performance regularly to ensure targets are met
  • Build partnerships and work collaboratively with internal teams including Operations, Project Development, Legal, FP&A, and Commercial
  • Assume the lead role of customer interface for all commercial activities while collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver projects
  • Identify and execute new long‑term supply opportunities and assist in determining prices and contract terms for profitable transactions in partnership with the Commercial and Trading functions
  • Identify projects and/or activities that improve current processes, then lead those projects or maintain accountability for ongoing activities or objectives resulting from that identification
  • Conduct accurate and timely financial analysis, project approvals, ongoing customer engagement, and strategy setting within the region to support broader organizational goals
  • Consolidate multiple data points to assess market conditions and changes as they occur, then communicate these assessments throughout the organization so stakeholders may react timely
What You’ll Bring - Required
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 5 or more years of energy industry and/or account management experience
  • Intermediate or greater proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Willing and able to travel up to 15% of the time
What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred
  • 10 or more years of energy industry and/or account management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or another related field
  • Working knowledge of Marketing, Pricing, Transportation and/or Commercial operations
  • Working knowledge of the petrochemical industry
Compensation Range

This position has a base salary range of $160,200 - $195,800.

Where a candidate offer falls within the posted range depends on the candidate's experience, skills, and alignment with the role’s requirements. Midstream

The Phillips 66 Midstream business is a safe, reliable, and trusted provider for the movement, storage, gathering, and processing of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 70,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. Our capabilities include extensive natural gas gathering and processing operations, enhancing our wellhead-to-market strategy. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.
