Senior BioProduction Account Manager, San Diego, CA

The Senior BioProduction Account Manager supports the BioProduction Group portfolio, providing biotechnology and biopharmaceutical customers with integrated solutions across the bioprocessing workflow. Our technologies include: Cell Culture, Production Chemicals, Chromatography, Pharma Analytics, and Single-Use Technologies.

Responsibilities

1. Work independently on daily activities according to the sales activity plan.
2. Engage with technical sales specialists and receive guidance from product management in special sales situations.
3. Maintain existing customer relationships while developing new process opportunities to build a strong pipeline.
4. Coordinate custom projects across various BPD functional groups to ensure alignment and execution.
5. Meet sales quotas and expense targets for the territory.
6. Use effective sales strategies to proactively seek opportunities and respond to customer needs with innovative solutions.
7. Plan territory and accounts effectively to drive growth.
8. Hold weekly discussions with the sales manager on territory activities and sales situations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of experience selling into the BioProduction market or related industry experience.
• Established relationships within biopharmaceutical accounts are desirable.
• Ability to discuss product and application requirements across bioprocessing workflows.
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Analytical skills for sales data and technical information analysis.
• Experience with SFDC CRM is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
