Job summary

NFP, an Aon company, is seeking an experienced Benefits Administrator to manage client onboarding, renewal processes, and vendor coordination. You will maintain client data, prepare carrier reports, and support HR with enrollment and compliance tasks.

A minimum of 5–7 years in Employee Benefits Administration is preferred; a Bachelor’s degree is desirable. A Health & Life Insurance License is required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vendor communications and renewal timelines for clients.

Essential Core Duties And Responsibilities

• Vendor Liaison for clients
• Responsible for maintaining outstanding checklists and renewal timelines
• Problem-resolution for ongoing or advanced issues
• Responsible for running carrier reports where applicable, or ordering monthly reporting directly from the carrier
• Responsible for negotiating with vendors to provide competitive quotes. Provide contract review, comparisons and recommendations for renewals by established deadlines
• Proactive customer service and HR support
• Maintain internal files and databases with all client data
• Implementation and compliance support
• Proficient in completing fully insured NFP renewal package
• Assist and coordinate the onboarding process for all new arguments and new business lines on designated accounts
• Experienced in Voluntary Benefits, Work Site Products and Enrollment/Eligibility Options for Clients to include Benefits Administration Systems
• Proficient in carrier alternatives, products and systems
• Attendance at weekly Health and Welfare meetings, planning sessions and NFP-Sponsored events

The base salary range for this position is $76,200 – $90,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
