Job Title: Senior IoT Account Executive

The Senior IoT Account Executive is an IoT sales professional responsible for prospecting and cultivating new business relationships to drive IoT revenue within the Public Sector, Mid-Market, and SMB segments. This role involves working with companies to implement new initiatives that drive strategic revenue and cost savings using IoT solutions. Key responsibilities include opportunity and account planning, managing sales funnels, forecasting, and closing new business. Collaboration with customer executives, strategic partners, and internal teams is essential to expand IoT solutions usage among our clients.

Responsibilities
  1. Identify customer needs and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile's IoT products and services using solution-based selling techniques.
  2. Utilize sales automation and prospecting tools effectively; manage sales funnel and generate activity reports.
  3. Coordinate with internal departments to onboard new customers successfully.
  4. Conduct research on prospective business information.
  5. Lead contract and sales negotiations.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technology preferred.
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Minimum 7 years of B2B sales experience in high-tech sales.
  • At least 3 years selling complex IoT/M2M services focusing on new logos or prospects.
  • Minimum 5 years in complex solutions/applications sales.
  • Preferred 7-10 years combined sales and technical solutions experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in IoT industry technologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of IoT ecosystem including infrastructure, cloud, edge computing, hardware, modules, and platforms.
  • Proven success in meeting/exceeding sales targets, experience in Fortune 500 & 1000 accounts, and strong presentation skills.
  • Solid business acumen and executive presence.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Total target cash pay range: $147,600 - $266,300, including incentives. Base pay range: $88,560 - $159,780. Actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience. For specific pay lookup, visit this link.
