Job Overview

As the Sr Account Executive, Federal Sales, you will engage with C-Suite and Executive level contacts within Federal Government agencies and qualified organizations. Your goal is to sell products and services, acquire new business through prospecting, cold-calling, networking, and generating leads and referrals. You will meet and exceed sales objectives by targeting strategic accounts, leading customer interactions with key decision makers, and creating new opportunities for sales and relationship growth within the Federal Government account portfolio. Collaboration with other teams is essential to manage active accounts, identify customer needs, and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile's products and services. Prior experience in federal law enforcement is preferred.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Sales and Prospecting Activities: Engage in cold calling, develop profitable new accounts within the DoD and Federal Civilian sectors, and expand the client base through strategic partnerships and market research.
  2. Sales Tools and Documentation: Use CRM systems like Salesforce for managing activities, reporting, and ensuring smooth onboarding processes.
  3. Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with legal teams.
  4. Market Expansion: Develop strategies to grow market share, build relationships with key stakeholders, and forecast revenue accurately.
  5. Travel: Travel up to 50% to military bases and client locations to foster relationships and understand client needs.
  6. Presentations and Referral Network: Deliver compelling presentations and develop referral networks to generate leads.
  7. Collaboration and Public Relations: Work internally across teams and externally within communities to promote the organization and support growth.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Federal law enforcement experience is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of sales experience in acquisition, relationship management, and RFPs/RFQs within the Federal space.
  • Experience selling postpaid products in Federal verticals, wireless industry, or business markets is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Proven ability to acquire new customers and manage complex sales processes.
  • Ability to negotiate and create executive-level presentations.
  • Understanding of contractual agreements and legal collaboration.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • This role requires U.S. citizenship, with documentation to be provided within 7 days of hire.

Travel is required for this position. The total target cash pay range is $154,900 - $279,300, with a base pay range of $108,430 - $195,510, depending on experience and location.
