SUMMARY: We are looking for a dynamic Healthcare Segment Sales Manager based in the U.S to work remotely. As the Healthcare Segment Sales Manager - East Region, you will use your technical business development abilities to develop and implement a sales and market strategy focusing on air filtration in clean rooms & HVAC systems in the Healthcare Industry in the Eastern Region of the US.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In addition to those listed in the Summary section above, the following are duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for continual increase in market share of Camfil USA air filtration product sales to hospital and healthcare institutions throughout the designated portion of the U.S.. Critical duty is to have direct contact and influence with corporate IDN headquarter or regional locations regarding product selection and evaluation, incorporation of new products and technologies developed by Camfil, pricing, and pre/after-sale support.
  • Sales will be executed through our distribution network but Segment Manager will serve to directly drive opportunities with large target IDNs and facilities as well as serve as technical expert to assist in presentations and the sales process created at the local level.
  • Duties include solicitation and proposal preparation, contract negotiation, development and administration of facilities databases, site surveys, training of internal and external personnel, presentations to engineering and end user groups, participation in select trade associations and trade shows, and product development input.
  • Key strategic element will be to influence our independent distributors and Branches to full participate in ant applicable GPO contracts.
  • Emphasis needs to be applied to sales growth of 5 Star energy and sustainability products such as Dual 9, Hi-Flo ES, Durafil ES and Filtra 2000, Absolut VG, etc.. Segment Manager will work to influence both fore market/new construction sales (getting consulting engineers designing new facilities or additions to specify Camfil HVAC hardware and filters and containment units) and aftermarket sales (replacement of filters in existing buildings).
  • Work with Marketing to develop programs to create prospects, sales tools for solicitation of prospects, mailing programs to customer facilities, participation in customer/industry trade shows, etc.
  • Develop a relationship with regional representatives from any GPO partners and engage them to help us influence target IDNs
  • Create PowerPoint and other presentation programs and materials customized to specific company or market segment needs and to reach a broad audience within the prospect’s organization (administration, energy management, sustainability management, infectious control, finance, engineering, procurement, etc.).
  • Lead and/or participate in all training sessions involving applications, products, strategies, competitive positioning for said marketplace.
  • Participate in the annual Camfil expense budget process including sales (by customer and product class), gross profit and department expense projections & management.
  • Use Camfil sales tools (LCC, CamTester, CamTester Pro, Insitu testing, CamField Lab, Web information, etc.) to create value with the customer and position Camfil as the “least risk vendor”. These tools should also be utilized to promote “up-selling” during site surveys and future product conversion opportunities.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of specialized promotional events such as the Healthcare Trailer and creation of segment Case Studies. Become actively involved in A.S.H.E. nationally and with specific local chapters in larger states or regions.
  • Provide input into stocking inventory requirements for HPP products at HVAC plants to maximize market penetration while meeting Camfil directives for working capital and inventory turns.
  • Prepare product development proposals for consideration by the North American S & P Committee. Proposals shall follow the format and requirements as set forth by the product submittal guidelines.
  • Segment success to be measured by new hospital and medical center account acquisition, Camfil sales to OEM and FM companies contracted with target hospitals, and new consulting engineer specification influence.
  • Utilization of MS Dynamics / dashboards and segment quantification is required.

Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales management.
  • Strong understanding of regional markets and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% domestically; some international travel may be required

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to warehouse, manufacturing plant, office environments, varying outdoor weather conditions, and heights (rooftops).
