Position Overview

The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing strategic sales opportunities with colleges, universities, and higher education systems across North America. This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role ideal for a consultative, goal-driven sales professional with a track record of success in SaaS or EdTech.

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting to contract closure
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the higher education space
  • Conduct needs discovery, product demos, value presentations, and solution positioning
  • Build deep relationships with campus stakeholders: CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, and procurement
  • Collaborate with sales engineering, product, and customer success to deliver strong outcomes
  • Drive RFP responses, pricing proposals, and deal negotiations
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Represent QuickLaunch at education conferences, trade shows, and virtual events
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of experience in SaaS solution selling, preferably to higher education
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding sales quota
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles (3–6+ months)
  • Strong understanding of IAM, IT infrastructure, or student information systems is a plus
  • CRM fluency and discipline (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
