Job summary

Life Time is seeking an enthusiastic squash instructor to teach private and group lessons, grow a client book, and meet personal revenue goals, while delivering member-centric service.

You will instruct players of all ages, create safe, professional programs, maintain courts and equipment, handle registration and billing, and collaborate with Membership Advisors to promote squash as part of the Life Time experience.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Thorough knowledge of the game of squash and effective teaching styles
• Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills
• Comfortable working with all age groups and building positive relationships
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds
• Authorized to work in the US or Canada
• Squash Level 1 Certified or European Equivalent
• CPR and AED Certified within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Monitors, demonstrates, and instructs students during squash lessons on proper techniques, tactics and strategies to improve their game; ~80% on-court instruction
• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive squash lessons and programs to encourage continued involvement and positive Net Promoter Score
• Creates exceptional member experiences by involving members with programs, tournaments and events, and maintains clean, organized courts and equipment
• Ensures proper registration and billing for squash students and programming; uses Life Time scheduling software and follows SOPs
• Participates in the system-wide sales effort with Membership Advisors and Member Activities; attends department and all club meetings
