Job summary

Life Time is seeking a squash instructor to teach private and group lessons and grow a personal book of business while meeting revenue goals. You will deliver lessons using department standards and ensure member-centric service, coordinating with staff for programs, events and court maintenance.

The role requires a high school diploma, squash knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with CPR/AED certification.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and friendly, positive attitude.
• Thorough knowledge of squash with effective teaching styles.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organization.
• Able to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Authorized to work in the US or Canada.
• Squash Level 1 Certified- or European Equivalent.
• CPR and AED Certified within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred: 1+ years' experience in squash instruction.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, demonstrates, and instructs students during squash lessons on proper techniques, tactics and strategies to improve their overall squash game. Approximately 80% of working time should be spent in on-court instruction.
• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive squash lessons and programs to ensure students develop along a pathway that will encourage continued involvement and a positive Net Promoter Score.
• Creates exceptional member experiences by involving members with programs, tournaments and special events, fully utilizing available marketing support and tools, and ensures all squash courts and equipment are clean, organized and in good working condition.
• Ensures proper registration and billing for squash students and programming. Ensures all lessons/programs are booked in the Life Time court scheduling software and follow all company SOPs.
• Participates in the system wide sales effort with Membership Advisors and Member Activities, ensuring Squash is an integral component of the Life Time brand. Attends department and all club meetings.
