Job summary

Staffing Spot, Inc. is seeking an experienced SQL Server database engineer to design, optimize, and maintain complex databases in a fast-paced environment.

You will implement data structures, define schemas, and ensure data integrity while collaborating with developers and analysts to deliver reliable data services. The role requires deep knowledge of T-SQL, indexing, and performance tuning, with hands-on experience in Tableau reporting and ETL processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Server ( mandatory and no substitution of Oracle or other DBs).
• 7+ years’ experience with Data modeling and database design.
• 7+ years’ experience in developing of DB objects like tables, views, complex stored procedures, and user defined functions.
• 7+ years’ experience with performance tuning of SQL Queries.
• 3+ years’ Agile development
• Experience with Tableau reporting
• Experience with ETL
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions.
• Experience developing stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Strong understanding of indexing, execution plans, and query optimization.
• Experience with database design, normalization, and relational database concepts.
• Knowledge of transactions, locking, blocking, and deadlock troubleshooting.
• Experience with database backup, recovery, and performance monitoring.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
