We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join a dynamic project with the DHA in a remote work arrangement. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a broad and deep understanding of various database technologies to make a significant impact.

Job Description:

  • Apply knowledge of computer science principles, information management principles, automated data processing (ADP) functions, hardware and software systems' structures and operation, and computer programming languages and techniques to solve automation problems.
  • Interface with and utilize minicomputer and mainframe computer systems to meet project objectives.
  • Use standard approaches, methods, and techniques to define, plan, organize, design, modify, test, and integrate database or data processing systems, hardware systems, and simulation models.
  • Assist in formulating architectural design, functional specifications, interfaces, and documentation of hardware or software systems.
  • Use detailed specifications and adapt standardized techniques to modify system or program components.
  • Responsible for specific segments or phases of larger, more complex projects.
  • Knowledgeable of Windows Server 2019 configuration and administration.
  • Knowledge of Internet Information Server (IIS) 8.5 administration.
  • Ability to implement DISA required server configurations.
  • Maintain compliance with DISA STIGs.
  • Complete annual security audits with the USARC Cyber Team.
  • Proficient in T-SQL querying.
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Able to learn and understand AWMS processes and workflows.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or engineering from an accredited institution; or eight (8) years of combined education and at least three (3) years of experience.
  • 8-15 years of experience working with increasingly complex or large-scale databases.
  • Experience with software program refreshment, systems testing, and producing reports.
  • Within 6 months of contract start, obtain IAT Level II certification and maintain certifications for all applications used in the environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Federal Government systems and access requirements.

  • Azure Web App configuration and management.
  • Power BI reporting knowledge.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes.
  • Detailed knowledge of T-SQL querying.
