Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IS.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience with backup, recovery, and high availability (Always On, Failover Clustering, log shipping).
• Proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server Agent automation.

Responsibilities

• Document database design, configuration and performance processes.
• Administer SQL Server databases across environments.
• Monitor and tune performance, queries, indexes and configs.
• Design database structures, storage, and capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot performance, availability and data integrity.
• Develop T-SQL scripts and automated maintenance jobs.
• Implement backup, recovery and HA solutions.
• Apply patches, upgrades, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize performance.
