You will automate tasks with PowerShell, utilize SSRS and Qlik for BI reporting, and mentor junior engineers while maintaining security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience administering Microsoft SQL Server in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Always On Availability Groups in multi-site environments.
• Experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments, including performance tuning, capacity planning, backup, restore, and disaster recovery.
• Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable database architectures using SQL Server high availability technologies (Always On, multi-site deployments).
• Lead performance diagnostics and tuning, including query optimization and indexing strategies.
• Partner with application and infrastructure teams on schema design, standards, reviews, and release planning.
• Develop monitoring and alerting to identify risks before impact.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and T-SQL.
• Manage upgrades, patching, and migrations; ensure security and auditing.
