Job summary

The State of Missouri is seeking a Database Supervisor who will lead teams supporting Microsoft SQL Server databases in both cloud and on-prem environments. You will supervise the SQL Server services, monitor budgets and KPIs, coordinate with vendors, and manage multiple projects from initiation to completion.

You will work closely with the Database Manager and IT leadership to ensure reliable database services across state agencies, driving process improvements and effective cross-team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5-8 years of progressive experience in Information Technology.

Responsibilities

• Supervise teams supporting Microsoft SQL Server database products in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Track budget items & key performance measures, monitor project deliverables and deadlines.
• Collaborate with vendor community and IT sections within our consolidated environment.
• Plan and manage a variety of projects from start to finish and provide ongoing support using project management skills.
