State Board of Elections in Springfield, IL seeks a Database Administrator to manage SQL Server and Azure SQL environments, ensuring availability, security, and data integrity for election systems.

You will lead migrations to Azure, implement high-availability, automate monitoring, and collaborate with developers and vendors. A four-year degree and strong SQL/T-SQL skills are required.

Competenze

• Four-year college degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and document procedures.

Mansioni

• Administer SQL Server and Azure SQL Managed Instance environments.
• Plan and execute migration of on-prem workloads to Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• Manage database security, logins, permissions, auditing per least-privilege.
• Analyze and optimize performance; tune queries and maintenance.
