Calculated Hire is seeking an experienced Reporting Developer in Charlotte, NC with strong SQL and BI tooling to develop, maintain, and support reports and reporting solutions using Power BI, Report Builder, and SSRS.

The role involves translating complex business requirements into reliable data solutions, troubleshooting queries, collaborating with stakeholders, and documenting processes while working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a Software Developer; business analyst experience alone is not sufficient.
• Experience building and supporting Power BI, Report Builder and SSRS reports.
• Advanced SQL skills: read, write, modify, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries.
• Able to learn proprietary SQL-based tools and processes quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality solutions.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, enhance, and support reports and reporting solutions using Power BI, Report Builder, and SSRS.
• Write, modify, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into effective reporting and software solutions.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to reports, SQL queries, data, and app functionality.
• Work with existing SQL-based development tools and proprietary processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Maintain technical documentation for development, testing, and support activities.
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality.
