VTekis Consulting LLC seeks an experienced SQL Developer to join client teams in Houston. The role requires strong hands-on experience designing and developing database objects and SSIS packages, plus the ability to work independently.

You will collaborate with product, architect and business analysts, follow SAFe processes, and own deliverables from design through to deployment.

Formación

• 6-8 years of experience as a SQL developer.
• Experience working in SAFe model.
• Excellent communication to work with product, architect and technical teams.
• Able to work independently.
• Go-getter who takes ownership and responsibility for deliverables.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop database objects (tables, indexes, keys, stored procedures, views, functions, triggers) and SSIS packages.
• Excellent debugging skills to decode the logic of complex stored procedures.
• Document and translate complex stored procedure logic into simple language.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to reverse engineer a monolith into a microservice-based platform.

Job Responsibilities

• Good knowledge of Designing and Development of database objects, i.e. Tables, Indexes, Keys, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, Triggers, and SSIS packages commensurate with level of experience
• Excellent debugging skills to decode the logic of complex stored procedures
• Excellent documentation skills, should be able to read and translate the logic of complex stored procedures into simple language
• Excellent team player, should be able to work closely with Business Analyst in reverse engineering a monolith application into state of the art Microservice based platform
