Job summary

VAL-CO is seeking a SQL Developer & Analyst to design, code, and maintain SQL Server/T-SQL solutions and develop custom applications and reports. You will gather functional requirements, support ERP users, and coordinate with IT to ensure reliable reporting and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a SQL Developer or Business Analyst (manufacturing preferred).
• Experience with SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Windows stack development, Crystal Reports, Windows Server, ERP management, process design/flow charting.
• Strong communication, project management, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience collecting and documenting end user functional requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and maintain SQL Server/T-SQL solutions.
• Develop custom applications and reports (including Crystal Reports).
• Gather and document functional requirements; support and train end users on ERP and custom tools.
• Monitor application performance; troubleshoot and escalate issues; coordinate priorities with IT team.
• Experience with Macola ES software preferred but not required.
