Job summary

Cavco Industries, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced SQL Developer to design, build, test, and support code for integrations, configurations, and reporting. The role covers ETL pipelines, vendor builds, and data extractions, with collaboration across business, vendor, and technical teams.

The candidate will gain deep knowledge of Cavco’s data sources, support enterprise applications, and participate in upgrades and change control, reporting to the Director of Enterprise Applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in SQL scripting (SSIS), Report Writing (SSRS), and application configurations and support.
• Experience supporting enterprise ERP and/or CRM systems.
• Ability to understand business and technical requirements and design a suitable solution.
• Ability to explain data and logic concepts to non-technical and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Code Development: Write advanced functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Data Integration: Build and support automated ETL pipelines using tools like SSIS, SSMS, sFTP, APIs.
• Business Intelligence and Report Development: Design, build, test and deploy ad-hoc data extractions, reports, and dashboards using SSRS and Report Builder.
• Collaboration: Meet with business, vendors and technical teams to gather data requirements.
• Configuration: Administer applications and configurations including user fields and scripting.
• Processing: Monitor daily SQL integrations and batch jobs for completeness and accuracy.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for features or enhancements to improve efficiencies.
• Compliance: Maintain IT GRC, SOX, and Internal Audit documentation; travel may be required.
