Job description

Excel Nearshore is seeking an experiencedSQL Developerto join our team on apart-time basis (20 hours a week)for a 4-month project.The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise inT-SQL and MS SQL Server, with the ability to support development and data integration tasks. Familiarity with Snowflake and SSIS is a plus. This is a fully remote position from Costa Rica.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and optimize complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Maintain and enhance existing MS SQL Server databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements. and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Support debugging and performance tuning of SQL queries.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience as a SQL Developer.
• Strong hands-on experience withT-SQLandMS SQL Server(SSMS).
• Working knowledge ofSSIS(nice to have).
• Experience withSnowflake(nice to have).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a part-time, remote role.
• Good communication skills in English.
