SQL Reports Developer (Sft Engineer -Dev- III)

CorVel Corporation is hiring a Report Developer to develop clear and accurate reports that drive vital business decisions for CorVel and our customers. You will oversee all aspects of development for assigned projects, from gathering and refining requirements to deployment.

The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker who can communicate complex concepts clearly and understands that accuracy is paramount. You should take ownership of projects and seek guidance when necessary to ensure progress.

This is a remote role within the US, with onboarding in person at our Portland, OR office.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

1. Work with Business Analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements.
2. Design and develop reports to support business decisions.
3. Create T-SQL stored procedures and other database objects.
4. Analyze and document technical changes.

Requirements

1. Experience with:

• Writing complex stored procedures using T-SQL.
• T-SQL query performance tuning and optimization.
• Reporting tools such as Power BI Paginated Reports, SSRS, or Crystal Reports.

Bonus points for:

• Healthcare or insurance industry experience.
• Familiarity with normalized and data warehouse database structures.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related experience.

Pay Range

Our salary ranges are market-based and vary by location, skills, experience, and other factors. The range for this role is $68,696 - $114,313, with potential adjustments based on the interview assessment.
