Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a SQL DBA / Systems Analyst to support a large Federal agency. The role focuses on ESI processing, database design, and system upgrades within a compliant government network environment.

You will lead testing efforts, implement automated workflows, and contribute to database maintenance and documentation while aligning with the organization’s mission and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) with five years of professional experience in ESI Processing or upgrading/integrating technical systems.
• Knowledge of file manipulation applications, scripting, and the eDiscovery industry.
• Certification in an eDiscovery program or related software package (i.e., Concordance, Relativity, Clearwell).
• Must be willing to achieve Relativity Certified Administrator credential within 6 months of hire
• Must have experience working within a network environment supporting an eDiscovery platform
• Must have experience in Performing eDiscovery application system maintenance, upgrades, and day-to-day administration
• Must have three years of experience designing, administering, maintaining, and updating databases
• Must be familiar with government network operating environment standards and security requirements

Responsibilities

• Process ESI into multiple systems and perform hands-on file manipulations and conversions.
• Design and implement action plans to upgrade new litigation support tools within established environments via Change Control Board participation.
• Lead user acceptance testing and validate rollout of new software upgrades; integrate legal systems with scripts and automated workflows.
• Assist in administering database environments, standards, controls, and procedures.
• Provide technical consulting in the definition, design, and creation of a database environment.
• Maintain documentation and develop database dictionaries.
