Logisnext Americas Inc. is seeking a Database Developer to design, implement, and maintain SQL databases, SSIS/SSRS interfaces, and related data integrations.

You will collaborate with network admins, developers, analysts, and vendors to ensure availability, performance, and security in a hybrid Grand Rapids, MI setting. The role emphasizes maintaining 24x7 data availability, improving integrations, and adhering to GDPR/JSOX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–7 years of job experience.
• 2+ years working with MS SQL Server.
• Experience with query optimization and transactional data strategies.
• Knowledge of database architecture and design.
• Data modeling and enterprise database architectures.
• Experience with SSIS or other integration tools.
• Experience with database testing.
• Experience with both normalized and de-normalized data.
• Experience with ETL concepts.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop new database structures (physical and logical).
• Collaborate with application developers on architecture and design.
• Evolve database structures for better access and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain server-to-server integrations with partners (FTP, web services, XML interfaces, APIs).
• Improve server-to-server integration systems with partners.
• Document database processes and plan for backup, recovery, and high availability.
• Maintain data availability for 24x7 applications.
• Monitor and improve system health.
• Use database source control and best practices.
• Follow GDPR and JSOX compliance.
