Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Infrastructure Consultant 2 to join our Cloud unit in the United States. You will resolve complex incidents, assess IT infrastructure, and design scalable solutions while coordinating deployments across on-site and offshore teams.

Focus areas include SQL Server clustering, Always On, SSIS/SSRS/SSAS, and Azure Data Factory. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success in a dynamic, client-facing role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience supporting 24/7 production environments and rotation shifts.
• Strong understanding of SQL Server, clustering, and Always On availability groups.
• Familiarity with SSIS/SSRS/SSAS and Azure Data Factory for data integration.
• Proficient in performance tuning, capacity planning, and backup/restore strategies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve incidents and document preventive actions.
• Evaluate client IT infrastructure and prepare actionable assessment reports.
• Design scalable, cost-efficient infrastructure solutions and document deployments.
• Coordinate releases, deployments, and post-deployment testing with version control.
• Schedule maintenance, implement emergency fixes, and coordinate upgrades.
• Analyze performance data, support capacity planning, and optimize system behavior.
• Conduct security checks and compliance audits; implement continuity plans.
• Develop knowledge repositories and liaise with onsite, offshore, and vendor teams.
