Peregrine Advisors Benefit Inc. is seeking a data analytics professional to turn federal program data into reliable, auditable figures. You will build dashboards, define measures, and write SQL against AWS data stores to produce clean datasets and actionable insights.

You will own analytics end-to-end—from data sourcing to documented outcomes—collaborating with stakeholders and expanding capabilities with AI-assisted tooling. This hybrid role is based in the Washington, DC metro area.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of data analysis experience using SQL.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong working command of SQL.
• Experience building reports and dashboards in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Familiarity with Python or R for analysis scripting.
• Ability to own an analysis from question to delivered, documented answer.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Build recurring reports, dashboards, and data visualizations with documented measures, refresh schedules, and access controls.
• Write SQL to turn platform data on AWS into clean, reconciled analytical datasets.
• Define measures with owners and document the business rules behind every figure.
• Trace discrepancies to source explanations and provide data provenance.
• Provide validation checks, reconciliation reports, and issue logs for audits.
• Replace manual reporting with repeatable, tested workflows.
• Incorporate AI-assisted analysis and tooling into the workflow.
